Andrew Garske

Andrew Garske is an associate at Thomas H. Lee Partners.  Prior to joining Thomas H. Lee Partners, Mr. Garske worked as an analyst in the Healthcare Group at UBS Investment Bank in New York.

Mr. Garske holds a B.S. in Management with concentrations in Finance and Accounting, summa cum laude, from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.

Mr. Garske currently serves on the Private Equity / Venture Capital Associate Council at the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley.

Jim Gilbert

Mr. Gilbert is an executive advisor to Thomas H. Lee Partners.  He brings forty years of experience in strategic and operations value creation for life sciences and healthcare companies as an investor, executive, board member and advisor.

In addition to his role at Thomas H. Lee Partners, Mr. Gilbert works at Flagship Pioneering where he supports the firm’s strategic development, value growth, nutritional health and health security activities.  Prior to Flagship, Mr. Gilbert served as a senior advisor to the investment firm General Atlantic and as a senior operating executive at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe.  Prior to those roles, Mr. Gilbert served as group president of the Global Cardiovascular Group and executive vice president of corporate strategy, business development, marketing and health economics and reimbursement at Boston Scientific. Prior to that, Mr. Gilbert worked at Bain & Company for over twenty-four years serving as chairman on the management committee, and the managing director of Bain’s Global Healthcare Practice with a focus on serving medical technology, biopharmaceuticals and life science tools clients. As a leading member of Global Strategy Practice at Bain, Mr. Gilbert was a published author and speaker, sharing insights on medical technology and pharmaceutical industry strategic trends and issues as well as “profit pool-based” and “strategic principled-based” strategy implementation.

Mr. Gilbert holds a B.S. in industrial engineering and operations research with high distinction from Cornell University School of Engineering and an M.B.A. with distinction from Harvard Business School.

Andrew Goberstein

Andrew S. Goberstein is a principal at Thomas H. Lee Partners.  Mr. Goberstein is currently a director at Adare Pharma Solutions and is also involved with THL’s investments in CSafe and Agiliti.

Prior to joining Thomas H. Lee Partners, Mr. Goberstein worked at Court Square Capital Partners in its Healthcare Group and at J.P. Morgan in its Investment Banking Division’s Financial Sponsor Group.

Mr. Goberstein holds a B.S. in Finance, cum laude, from Bentley College and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Harris Hyman

Harris Hyman is a senior healthcare advisor to Thomas H. Lee Partners.  He brings over thirty years of healthcare services experience and has a demonstrated track record of actively working with management teams to help build industry-leading companies.  Mr. Hyman has served on the Board of Directors of numerous public and private healthcare companies, including MedAssets, United BioSource, Summit Behavioral Health, Intermedix and EyeSouth Partners.

Prior to joining Thomas H. Lee Partners, Mr. Hyman founded Northwood Healthcare Partners, a healthcare private investment firm.  Prior to founding Northwood, Mr. Hyman was a Managing Director at Flexpoint Ford, an industry focused private equity firm where he helped lead the firm’s healthcare investment activity.  Previously, he was a Managing Director of Credit Suisse First Boston where he served as Co-Head of Healthcare Mergers and Acquisitions.

Mr. Hyman holds a B.S. in Engineering, magna cum laude, from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Mr. Hyman has been active on a number of not-for-profit boards, including Trout Unlimited, where he has served as Treasurer and a member of the Board of Trustees for over 10 years, and MedStar Health, a $4 billion health system.

Jon Lange

Jon Lange is a principal at Thomas H. Lee Partners.  Mr. Lange is currently a director at Senior Home Care Holdings, Inc.

Prior to joining Thomas H. Lee Partners, Mr. Lange worked at Elliott Management, an activist hedge fund based in New York, where he invested in healthcare, technology, and consumer companies.  Previously, Mr. Lange worked in the North American private equity group at Bain Capital and at the Baupost Group, an investment firm based in Boston.  Mr. Lange began his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the technology, media, and telecommunications investment banking group.

Mr. Lange holds a BSE, summa cum laude, in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Arthur G. McAleer

Art McAleer is an executive advisor to Thomas H. Lee Partners. He brings over twenty-five years of finance and operating experience to the Firm. Mr. McAleer has held leadership positions in a variety of roles including CEO, CFO, Worldwide VP, and board member and has a demonstrated track record in effective leadership and building value through organic and inorganic means.  Art served as President of Federal Street Acquisition Corp., THL’s first special purpose acquisition company.

Prior to joining THL, Mr. McAleer was president of Galatea LLC, an interim executive and strategic advisory firm. Clients included Johnson & Johnson, Acelity (formerly KCI), and other healthcare firms. Prior to founding Galatea, Mr. McAleer served as a worldwide vice president for Covidien. Mr. McAleer also played key roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific leading efforts to integrate Fisher Scientific and Thermo Electron, as well as strategy and business development activities.

Prior to his role at Thermo Fisher, Mr. McAleer was a consultant at McKinsey & Co., and Founder and CEO of Asymmetry Inc., an enterprise software and services firm. Earlier in his career, Mr. McAleer led finance activities and corporate development at Fisher Scientific International, and was in CS First Boston’s Leveraged Finance and Investment Banking Groups.

Mr. McAleer is a founding member of the advisory board of Nypro, a Jabil company. He holds a B.S. from Middlebury College and an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College.

Joshua Nelson

Joshua M. Nelson is a managing director at Thomas H. Lee Partners. Prior to joining Thomas H. Lee Partners, Mr. Nelson worked at JPMorgan Partners, the private equity affiliate of JPMorgan Chase. Mr. Nelson also worked at McKinsey & Co. and The Beacon Group, LLC.

Mr. Nelson is currently a director of Adare Pharma Solutions, Agiliti Health, Inc., Autism Home Care Holdings, Inc., CSafe Global, Hospice Care, Professional Physical Therapy (ProPT), Senior Home Care Holdings, Inc. and Syneos Health (formerly inVentiv Health, Inc.).  His prior directorships include 1-800 CONTACTS, Inc., Curo Health Services, Hawkeye Energy Holdings, Healthcare Staffing Services, Intermedix Corporation and Party City.

Mr. Nelson holds an A.B., summa cum laude, in Politics from Princeton University and an M.B.A. with Honors from Harvard Business School.

Mallet Njonkem

Megan Preiner

Megan M. Preiner is a managing director at Thomas H. Lee Partners.  Prior to joining THL, Ms. Preiner worked in the Media & Telecommunications Group at Credit Suisse in New York.

Ms. Preiner is currently a director of Adare Pharma Solutions, Agiliti Health, Inc., Autism Home Care Holdings, Inc., CSafe Global, Healthcare Staffing Services, Hospice Care and Senior Home Care Holdings, Inc. Her prior directorships include Intermedix Corporation and Phillips Pet Food & Supplies.

Ms. Preiner holds a B.A. in Political Economy, cum laude, from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Ms. Preiner serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of Friends of Excel Academy, a network of charter schools serving the greater Boston area.

Jesse Searby

Managing Director - Business Development

Mr. Searby is a managing director at Thomas H. Lee Partners.  Mr. Searby is responsible for Business Development, including sourcing strategy, market-facing relationships and development of Identified Sector Opportunities in the Healthcare and Technology & Business Services industry groups. In these roles, Mr. Searby brings significant technology related industry experience in the areas of consumer technology, e-commerce, software and tech-enabled business services.

Prior to joining Thomas H. Lee Partners, Mr. Searby was a Senior Vice President in corporate development with MyWebGrocer, the only end-to-end Digital Experience Platform for leading grocers and CPG brands, where he was responsible for corporate strategy and executive oversight of capital markets activities. He also played a key role as Senior Vice President of strategic initiatives at the same company, providing management oversight of digital marketing strategy and sales. Mr. Searby previously served on the board of directors of NorthCounty Credit Union and worked in investment management at CitiGroup.

Mr. Searby holds a B.A. in History from University of Vermont.

Charles Shea

Mr. Shea is an executive advisor to Thomas H. Lee Partners. He brings over twenty-five years of private equity operating experience to the Firm with a proven track record of building business services, outsourcing, and healthcare companies. Mr. Shea has provided strong leadership in a number of different roles including CEO, COO, EVP, Chairman, Vice Chairman, and board director and has consistently demonstrated the ability to convert strategy into results and effectively lead organizations.

Prior to joining Thomas H. Lee Partners, Mr. Shea was a managing director with Devonshire Investors, a private equity investment firm owned by Fidelity Investments with $6 billion in assets under management. He also played a key role as executive vice president in building Sodexo from a regional food service company into a market leading provider of outsourced services to hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and corporations over an eight-year period.

Mr. Shea previously served as chairman of BostonCoach and Veritude. His other prior directorships include Curo Health Services, Healthcare Staffing Services, inVentiv Health, LogistiCare, Supplemental Health Care, Business Intelligence Advisors, Med e-Manager, Sebastians and J. Robert Scott. Mr. Shea currently serves as a director of System One.

Mr. Shea holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. from Salem State University.

Benjamin Stern

Christina Warner
