As an Executive Partner to the Financial Technology & Services vertical, Lou works with the investment team to source and diligence deals in Identified Sector Opportunities (ISOs), including Professional Services. He also collaborates with both the Strategic Resource Group and portfolio management teams to develop Value Creation Plans and advise leadership on key strategic and operating decisions. Lou has over 30 years of experience delivering innovative solutions in the engineering industry for transportation, environmental, power and energy, and other clients.

Before partnering with the THL team, Lou was the President and Chief Executive Officer of WSP, USA. During his career, he also held a number of senior leadership roles at Jacobs and AECOM. Lou is a retired registered professional engineer and has served as a member of several professional organizations including American Society of Civil Engineers, American Society of Highway Engineers, Advancing Women in Transportation (WTS), and COMTO.  He has held numerous board, advisory board and/or Trustee positions in the industry, including organizations such as the Committee for Economic Development (CED), Bridges to Prosperity, and USC and UCLA (Dean of Engineering Advisory Boards).

In his spare time, Lou enjoys coaching sports for his three children and spending time in the outdoors hiking, biking, skiing, fishing and off-road driving.
