Jim is the Head of the Technology & Business Solutions vertical, the Automation Fund and a member of the firm’s Management Committee. Jim leads a team to develop the firm’s technology practice and build leadership in our automation strategy, fostering a strong culture through specialization and professional development. He manages a large, diverse portfolio and works closely with the Strategic Resource Group to drive value creation for the firm’s portfolio companies. Jim currently serves as the Chair of the Board for Autostore and Fortna, among other of THL’s automation investments.

Before joining the THL team, Jim worked at Goldman Sachs in the Financial Institutions Group. Passionate about the environment and his community, Jim actively contributes to the National Park Foundation and serves as a Trustee on The Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, having served on the Board of Directors for 10 years. In his free time, Jim enjoys sports, photography and traveling. Jim lives outside of Boston with his wife, Kiera, and their two children.
