As an Executive Partner in the Healthcare vertical, Gene partners with the investment team to source and diligence deals. He also partners with management teams and the Strategic Resource Group to develop value creation plans and serves as an advisor to senior management on key strategic and operating decisions.  Gene has over 30 years of diverse business experience in the healthcare industry across different verticals.

Before partnering with the THL team, Gene was the CEO at Affordable Care, a leading retail dentistry company.  Prior to Affordable Care, Gene was the President and CEO at Resource Optimization & Innovation (ROi) and held senior leadership positions at SRI Surgical, Maxxim Medical and Baxter/Allegiance Healthcare/Cardinal Health.  Gene lives in Raleigh, NC and loves spending time with his wife Tammy and their three kids.  In his spare time, Gene enjoys playing golf and tennis, traveling with his family and boating.  He’s an avid sports fan and cheers loudly for the Chicago Bears and Carolina Hurricanes.
