As an Executive Partner to the Financial Technology & Services vertical, Bret works with the investment team to source and diligence deals in Identified Sector Opportunities (ISOs), including Insurance Technology & Services. He also collaborates with both the Strategic Resource Group and portfolio management teams to develop Value Creation Plans and advise leadership on key strategic and operating decisions. Bret currently serves as an Advisor for TPCR and has served on the Board for a number of businesses in the insurance industry. He has over 30 years of experience, specializing in leadership, operations, sales, transaction and restructuring.

Before partnering with the THL team, Bret held multiple roles with insurance distribution firms, including Chairman, CEO and Founder of Prime Risk Partners, Vice Chairman and CFO of Beecher Carlson Holdings and CFO of Hobbs Group. He also spent over a decade in investment banking, focused on the manufacturing, consumer products and business services sectors. Outside the office, Bret enjoys spending time with his wife of 35 years, four children and three grandchildren. He also loves playing golf, relaxing by the water and running 5Ks with his kids.
