As an Executive Partner to the Financial Technology & Services vertical, Gurinder works with the investment team to source and diligence deals in Identified Sector Opportunities (ISOs), including Wealth & Fund. He also collaborates with both the Strategic Resource Group and portfolio management teams to develop Value Creation Plans and advise leadership on key strategic and operating decisions. Gurinder currently serves as a Director of Hightower Advisors. He has over 25 years of experience in business operations and financial services, specializing in building, fixing and growing companies. 

Before partnering with the THL team, Gurinder held a number of leadership roles, including Advisor and COO at Ovo Cosmico, President and CEO of AssetMark, Co-founder of 280 CapMarkets and Chief Risk Officer at General Electric. Passionate about making a difference, he is President of the Board for Ensaaf, whose mission is to fight crimes against humanity in India by documenting abuses, bringing perpetrators to justice and organizing survivors. In his spare time, Gurinder enjoys practicing photography, playing pickleball and traveling both for business and pleasure. He has been married to his wife, Prabhjot, for 30 years and they have two daughters.
