As an Executive Partner to the Financial Technology & Services vertical, Alex works with the investment team to source and diligence deals in Identified Sector Opportunities (ISOs), including CFO Software. He also collaborates with both the Strategic Resource Group and portfolio management teams to develop Value Creation Plans and advise leadership on key strategic and operating decisions. Alex currently serves as the Head of Corporate Strategy at RIMES Technology. He brings over 20 years of experience in financial services software, specializing in corporate strategy, competitive intelligence and go-to-market strategy. 

Before partnering with the THL team, Alex held a number of leadership roles, including Chief Strategy Officer at Kyriba, Head of Product Strategy at Finastra, Expert Associate Partner with McKinsey and Company and Head of Risk Strategy with the Bank of Ireland Group. He has extensive experience in the financial services and financial technology industry helping firms and their investors define and execute growth strategies. In his spare time, Alex enjoys learning about new technologies and traveling with his wife, with whom he has two grown daughters.
